About the event
It’s time for a tribe-sized camp out!
Not only is it an annual tradition for chiefs to open their backyards to the tribes, but it is a great time to make sure your gear is in readiness for summer camping! (We had a great time last year even as Mother Nature unleashed the weather!)
Even if you can’t make it to your tribe’s gathering, we hope you will attend by hosting your own Springtime Backyard Tent Camp Out! If you have a backyard that would be good for a Camp Out (and you don’t mind some Native Sons and Daughters and their parents using your bathroom) please contact the Officer-In-Charge. We will try to group tribes together and help communicate that to our members in your area. We’ll help you coordinate start and end times, food, snacks and activities with each other so you have a great camp out and (hopefully) the start of a great camping season--- or even a new tribe!
If you can host a backyard camp out on May 20th, please contact the O-I-C below. You can register your intent to attend on CircleBridge. Please remember that this event is intended for Crooked River members only!
Chief Running Horse and the Yuma tribe invite members to join on the lands at 1981 Gaylann Drive in Brunswick. More details (and hopefully locations) to follow!
